More hair

Well we've been having lots of fun over here - my wonderful sister sent me a website of someone who enjoys doing hair on her daughters and posts instructions (thank you!!!!!). I'm not creative but I can copy someone - here's a sample of the fun we've been having!! I printed a lot of the pictures and put them in our craft binder and now the girls can point to a picture and I attempt. Even Mg has gotten into it (horray!!)

The last two were doing with the foam curlers - we actually got baths and pajamas done early enough Saturday night to have time to put curlers in. Daddy got on the computer and found funny animal videos to watch while I did the curlers - how many times did we watch the Lawrence Welk show and America's Funniest Home Videos while getting our hair in curlers mom?? It brought back a lot of happy (and curly!) memories!

We're so spoiled here to have access to so many animals!!! We went back to visit the baby horses one last time before they were auctioned off. It's amazing how fast they grow. Mg has finally gotten comfortable and enjoyed feeding the horses...here with one of the babies.

E was still a little nervous about feeding the horses but really enjoys putting the hay in the troughs for them and did feed a few...she REALLY loves the white horses.

M was sad that the babies were going to be sold - especially Bri who is her favorite, but was able to enjoy the day and had fun showing her friend around...we've been trying to meet up with some good friends of ours and luckily it worked out before the auction!

And they had a surprise...two baby kittens!!!! The girls spent SO much time with the kitties!!!! The kitties had been abandoned and our friend adopted them and bottle fed them and is now training them to be barn cats. One of the kitties LOVES to play (nacho) and the girls enjoyed that while Uno loves to be held. The girls were SO happy!!

We also stopped one day to see the baby cows (I liked this brown one). We aren't allowed to touch them but we got to see them and wander around a little bit - this is REALLY close to daddy's lab and the girls have asked often to go and we finally had our big chance last week - hooray for summer!!!

Sweet Mg

This little one has grown so much in the last several weeks/months. She has been talking like crazy which has been a lot of fun. She had been acting really tired...I think a lot of it was allergies (for a long time) and a little was that her iron levels were a little low and a lot was her needs were changing and we had to figure it out!!! She is still my cuddle girl that not only loves to be held but NEEDS to be held or she really starts to act up. She has been so happy to have her sisters home - partially because she was tired of getting into the car three times a day and partially because she enjoys their company. She's starting to really need social time with friends and it's fun to watch her grow up! She has even started posing for pictures...so here are a few!

She has FINALLY started letting me do her hair - and even leaves it in for a little while!!!
One day she just crashed on the couch - she's a busy and wonderfully sweet little girl!!!

bath time

We started throwing this one into the bathtub with us during a morning shower and this little one loves it!!! At first she was content to just splash the water, until she discovered the running water. Now when I take a shower she sits at my feet to be under the shower head. We make sure to put her under in the tub while it fills up for the girls bath, too since she LOVES sitting under the water spout and getting soaked!!! Funny adorable baby!

She gets as far underneath it as she can!!! And laughs and laughs and is just too cute! Never a dull moment!

Why We Love Our Daddy!

Happy Father's Day!!!! While Daddy is behind me saving the world on his computer (and oblivious to what is going on around him) I thought I'd share a few of the many reasons we love our Daddy and what makes him so special (thanks for the idea Lisa M!)...

Our Daddy is so much fun!!! He loves to tickle his little girls, chase them around the house and playground and tease them as much as they can handle!!!!!

He loves to play with his family....legos, computer, remote control cars, games, bike rides, and anything else that can be made fun!

He loves his Heavenly Father and serves the Lord and is a wonderful example and incredible patriarch for our family

He can fix anything!

He is still my best friend...we have the best time together!!!

He loves his family and loves to be with them

Dr. Chicken saves us from the evils of the world (with the cutest little boy grin!)

Daddy is the best person to take naps with!

He is still a kid at heart

He is lots of fun to play with and has fun on his weekly Daddy dates with each of his girls!

He's the world's best deep fryer!!!

He's the best Daddy and we're so grateful for all the time we can spend together and for all the hard work he puts into our family! I couldn't think of anyone better to spend my life with or be the father for our family!! Thanks for all you do!!!! We love you!
